Seems like every time I turn around there is some grand scheme to " regulate " or " outlaw " some dammed gun or attachment for one ( magazines ) . Folks I have some bad news for you if you are of the thought that we can in any way control such things . We have reached the point that a cnc mill is literally child's play done with children's toys.
Granted this is milling foam , but just what do you think your budding machinist will be working with in short order ?

Looks like it could be used for the basis of making parts for sand casting or loss mold casting. Probably have to spray the positive impression parts down with a sealant to keep the negative mould parts from seeping into the pores though.
I think you mean lost wax aka investment casting? Go to Rio Grande .com and peruse their catalogue on lost wax casting machines and supplies. Lots of their crucibles would hold a pistol frame.
I've done lost foam casting of aluminum with pink insulating foam, I bet this mill would cut it. My investment to do it was $5 for the sand I had everything else.
